In everyone’s personality, there are somethings that they find really easy to do and somethings that seem difficult even after trying many times. Most of the things in our lives revolve around the things are we know to do or things we have to learn to do
As some of you might be already aware of four-quadrant of time management adapted from the book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Steven R. Covey. It tells about how can we prioritize our time according to urgency and importance.
here, I am going to discuss about the quadrants of work and how can we apply that to our advantage. The four quadrant are divided by our learning skills on any subject
QUADRANT ONE QUADRANT TWO
Hard to learn; Hard to do Easy to learn; Hard to do
QUADRANT THREE QUADRANT FOUR
Hard to learn; easy to do Easy to learn; Easy to do
QUADRANT ONE:
The first quadrant is the job you find hard to learn and hard to do. These are probably the area where you find no passion and no interest to learn too. Like a coder is given the task to repair the physical fault in the computer hardware. In this, the occupation and the individual are not suited for each other.
QUADRANT TWO:
In this quadrant, things are easy to learn but hard to do. Like physical labor comes in these categories
QUADRANT THREE:
In this quadrant, things might seem hard to learn but when one learns it’s easy to do it. Like learning to ride a cycle.
QUADRANT FOUR:
This is the quadrant ideally everyone should be doing and the most important for one’s growth. Things that are easy to learn for a person and easy to do. These are the type of job generally people excel without much effort while other people might struggle at it. this kind of work people should look for to make a career ahead.
